The non-profit organization, New York Edge, which serves over 40,000 public school students in afterschool programs that focus on health and wellness, sports, creative arts, and college readiness, retained SKOLNICK to provide Architectural Design services for their new office and headquarters located in Woodside, NY.

TRANSFORMATION
The new design transforms what was once a nondescript warren of small offices and long hallways into a brighter, more open and dynamic series of legible work and gathering spaces for over 100 employees who occupy the offices on a daily basis, as well as hundreds of field staff who return to the office for seminars and training sessions. The spaces are highlighted by brightly colored “nodes” where individuals or small teams can engage and share ideas.
