‘The Museum Life’ Featuring Lee Skolnick

Lee Skolnick recently spoke with Carol Bossert on ‘The Museum Life’ about designing Muzeiko: America for Bulgaria Children’s Museum, Bulgaria’s first children’s and science museum. Along with George Mayer of kubik maltbie, Lee provides a behind-the-scenes look at the development of this project and discusses the role that independent partners play in the museum world.

“We went back to the hotel, of course I had jet lag, and so I wound up falling asleep very quickly because I was exhausted. I woke up at 1:30 in the morning and that was it. I was up. So I spent the entire night watching the snow and conceiving of Muzeiko, of its themes, its topics, its story line and its architecture.”

-Lee Skolnick
